Embraer Debuts Legacy 650, Phenom 300 Returns to CBAA
Melbourne, FL, June 7, 2012 – Embraer’s Legacy 650 will make its debut at the Canadian Business Aircraft Association convention on June 13-14, 2012 in Toronto, Canada. At the same time, the Phenom 300 will return to Canada’s premier business aviation event, where it debuted in 2011.

Embraer already has its entry-level Phenom 100 in operation in Canada and recently delivered to a Canadian customer, the first aircraft destined for an international customer produced at its Melbourne production facility. The company’s light Phenom 300 is expected to be certificated in Canada shortly in preparation for delivery to a Canadian customer later this summer.
Making its debut in the country as part of its world tour is the large-category Legacy 650 with its enhanced interior featuring a state-of-the-art cabin management system, an exceptionally quiet cabin and offering increased efficiency and comfort, significantly raising the bar in its class.
The Legacy 650 entered operation in 2010. Based on the successful Legacy 600 platform, it provides longer trips for up to 14 passengers, while maintaining the same level of comfort. Its range of 3,900 nautical miles (7,223 km) with four passengers, or 3,840 nautical miles (7,112 km) with eight passengers, both with NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means the aircraft can fly nonstop from Toronto to Rome and Vancouver to Bogota, Colombia.
Embraer will also be discussing enhancements to the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 which include increased seating options for the entry-level and light business aircraft, developed in response to customer requests.
The entry level Phenom 100 can accommodate up to eight occupants and has seven different interior options designed in partnership with BMW Group DesignworksUSA. Its range of 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 km), including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means the aircraft is capable of flying nonstop from Toronto to Melbourne, FL and Calgary to Chicago.
The Phenom 300 light jet accommodates up to 11 occupants and is one of the fastest aircraft in the light jet category, reaching 521 mph (839 km/h, or 453 knots – KTAS). It can fly at an altitude of up to 45,000 feet (13,716 meters) and has a range of 1,971 nautical miles (3,650 km), including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, which means the aircraft is capable of flying nonstop from Toronto to Calgary and Vancouver to Toronto.
