When purchasing a used aircraft you want to ensure that the sellers’ representation of the aircraft is accurate and your purchase decision is a sound investment before you take the aircraft to a pre-purchase inspection facility and enter into an Aircraft Purchase Agreement.  Our technical team will provide a comprehensive review of the logs and records to validate maintenance, service bulletin and AD note compliance, in addition to any damage history that may have occurred.

Pre-Purchase Representation

The pre-purchase inspection is the final step in acquiring or selling an aircraft and is usually the most challenging of the entire process.  Especially on medium to large-size aircraft, it is imperative to have experienced technical representation/management of the pre-purchase inspection as this is the most critical financial element and deal-breaking risk factor.  Technical representation during the pre-purchase inspection is a highly specialized skill-set requiring the ability to understand contracts, be recognized by the seller, purchaser and service center performing the inspection as the technical authority while having a delicate sense for adroit communication and negotiation amongst all parties.  If you have your own technical staff, we work for them augmenting their asset oversight with our experience of having done hundreds of pre-purchase inspections.  This experience is invaluable to our collective effort of working with all parties involved to do the job right, on-schedule and within budget while meeting our contractual obligations and over-arching deal objectives.
